Welcome to our Theatre School
Marcia Jones school of Dance has been established in Beeston and the outlying areas for over seventeen years, providing excellent dance tuition in many disciplines – Ballet, Tap, Modern Theatre, Jazz, Disco, Street, Hip Hop, Singing and Drama.
From aspiring teenagers training to enter performance colleges to tots baby ballet and adult classes or whether dance is an activity where children make new friends in a fun, safe, and friendly environment, it’s all available at Marcia’s.
The dance school is continuing to achieve excellent I.S.T.D grades for the pupils exam work with 100% pass rate and is continuing to go from strength to strength as a centre of excellence in Performing Arts.
This years Theatre Royal Panto “ Sleeping Beauty ” saw sixteen of Marcia’s pupils providing the “ah” factor and Kyeirah Stephens-Thoms breaking ranks and appearing in " Cinderella " at the Nottingham Playhouse. All girls proved excellent ambassadors for the school.
Previous productions at the Theatre Royal include “Annie”, “Jesus Christ Superstar”, “Joseph" and numerous Pantomime appearances.
The Schools November 2012 dance extravaganza-featuring tots and adults alike will once again be held at the Royal Concert Hall Nottingham.

Why Marcia's dance school?

With schools in Beeston, Hucknall and Mapperley you'll find classes for both children as well as adults. Their attention to detail and the love of dance is paramount. This shows with the continued 100% pass rate in all dancing exams.
